Tim Berners-Lee

Creator of the World Wide Web- (www) has become one of the more widely used internet servives,and its roots are based on Tim Berners-Lee's work. Berners-Lee is credited with creating the first Web server, browser, and URL addresses. He developed his idea in1989 whilw working at CERN, the Europen Particle Physyc Laboratory in Geneva, Switzeland, and based his work on a program he had written for his own use to track random associations.Today, he works quitely in academia as director of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) at the Massasachusetts Institute of Technology. In a 2006 podcast, Berners-Lee explained that he to disable the feedback function of his inaugural blog entry in 2005 because of the overwhelming number of responses.
